Continental American Army Regulations Regarding Promotion and Rank |

The Continental Army follows the established club criteria for rank and promotion as established in club rules. Point totals for assigned officers will be recorded and maintained by the relevant command and made readily available to each officer. Officers shall be promoted upon reaching the required criteria and announced as soon as practical. |

* includes additional criteria In accordance with club rules, General ranks will not be awarded without the officer having participated in a position of responsibility. Positions of responsibility include those such as command of the Army, command of a Division, Chief of Staff, Aide-de-Camp, etc. All promotions to General ranks must be approved by the club Cabinet. Members who reach the required points for promotion to General ranks without the estalished criteria will remain at the rank of Colonel until such time that it is met. |
