All, Thanks for the responses, and the time spent trying to get this feature to work. I can say that (1) it used to work, I played it on a number of occasions several years back, and (2) good luck getting it to work now. Things are snarled up with firewalls, and routers, and lions, and tigers, and b...

General,

My multiplayer proposal has crashed and burned as the software is now too snarled by safety features to work. I would love to get involved in a multiplayer Apple Pie Ridge, if possible.

I'm at jstrickler@sc.rr.com

Sincerely,

Colonel Strickler

All, I'm New here - or newly back from a very long lay off. If there is any interest I am seeking people who would like to play a live game - multi player - on line. Just like I used to play live games with other folks. I would generate a unique scenario involving one of the maps from Campaign Getty...

Back when I put Campaign Gettysburg together Brett Schulte and I put together an OOB with ratings arrived at via an "objective" system which combined length of service, number of engagements, losses over the course of the war, and a couple of other factors. I ended up not using it as I fel...

General Amos,

Sorry for the delay but I just got around to locating and checking my notes. Here's what I show for Scenario 88.

When I get home I will look at the scenarios. I forget off the top of my head what variable parameters I used for any given scenario. While a typo is a possibility, I think I probably had a range of possible arrival times with that being on the low end. I'll let you know.

Ross, There is only one percentage chance in the PDT for ammo depletion checks - it applies to both low and out of ammo checks. Low ammo and out of ammo are hard wired in the code, not contingent on the PDT, so there is no way to do away with low ammo, and keep just an out of ammo check absent a cod...

Bill,

Oh - forgot to cover this in my earlier post - I have corrected the release times for 1st Corps in scenarios 1 and 1.1. Again, an error in translation on my part from the campaign scenario 007 which I used as the master scenario for these two.

Bill, As to the historical Gettysburg scenarios the supply wagons for 1st Corps will be fixed during the a.m. hours in the upcoming update. There also was a problem with Heth and Pender's wagons arriving in scenarios 1 and 1.1 which also has been corrected - errors on my part in translating the camp...

I see that the original response to my posts has been removed - either by Mr. Peters or someone else - I don't know what the protocol is for that. Prior to its removal I did see, however, the reference to my being either lazy, proud, or mistaken in my facts. And the appeal to authority re: Coddingto...

Aw shoot - I'm blowing off work for a little while to consult some other cryptic, mystical bogus sources. Here's one: Numbers 110. Report of Colonel Arthur F. Devereux, Nineteenth Massachusetts Infantry. TANEYTOWN, MD., July 7, 1863. SIR: I have the honor to submit the following report of the part w...

I'm at work, so I don't have access to much - I will get it later, but I assume that when I garnered "absolutely bogus", "plucked out of air", "erronuneous"[sic] sources they may have been something like this: OFFICIAL RECORDS: Series 1, vol 27, Part 1 (Gettysburg Campaign) Page 386 N. C., VA., W. V...
