I have played the historical battle of Chickamauga scenario(s) (#39, #40w) 85 turns, September 19-20, several times as the CSA player. I have also played the small, twelve turn 'Defend the Bridge" scenario (#57, #58w). I have recently been studying the three days of battle: September 18 -20, 1...

Hi, Rich, So good to hear from you! I fear I no longer have time to playtest, but as it happens there is a segment of the club (not including me) that feels you blew it on rating units for the Shiloh game and insulted the Army of the Tennessee in the process. If you have the time and inclination pe...

Good day fellow gamers, I haven't posted here in a while, my apologies. If anyone here is interested in being a play tester (you get free games), please send an email to Rich Hamilton at WDS support. We need testers for all genres, even some medieval stuff is ready for testing. We have horse archers...

I wonder if this is an extreme FOW feature. But I'd say captured guns should be revealed.

As I checked what pieces are used in Petersburg I already saw that not few of them have a too short range. I'm currently looking through my sources and I hope you can delay the release of the final version some days, I'm surely done by Sunday. It would help if some info could be provided for some p...

Although I had pointed it out myself I think the strange 300 fire value in weapon slot l (Multiple Arms) was purposely set so. I found a unit in the "July 30 1864.oob" called "Mine" with just a single men using that weapon slot. That OOB is used only in the scenarios "034 T...

Would it be possible to also standardize the MP for supply wagons across the board?

BTW, any more comments about ranges, etc...? I need to put out a final version tomorrow, if possible

Thanks, Rich. This all went off when MG Mihalik found the 6lbr values strange, now I'm the one to find them strange because the rifled version now gets a much shorter range than the smooth version, it is currently the artillery with the shortest range what contradicts why it was rifled at all. We h...

Looks like a typo in the I line(42lbr Smoothbore).
It has a fire value of 5 at 10 hexes and 5 at 12 hexes but 6 at 11 hexes, seems strange that the fire value goes up there.

Right, hexes 11 and 12 should be eliminated

Where it is possible for a routing unit to capture a leader, it is not possible to capture a supply wagon, or artillery, excepting the artillery was unscrewed and abandoned. To capture a supply wagon or manned artillery, would require a melee. Routing units cannot melee. Now, if left behind enemy li...

Here are the weapon values. I have compared all the PDTs from all the Designers, Doug, John, Drew and myself. These are the results. They are not necessarily straight up averages, but rather a logically thought out compromise. No doubt they will not please everyone, but if any obvious errors are see...
