Here in North Carolina if you can prove that you had a relative that served with the South then you can get a tag with the stars and bars with the letters SCV above it which stands for Sons of Confederate Veterans and live in south eastern North Carolina I still see the Stars and Bars being flown in...

I would sided with the CSA, it was more about states right then slavery. Since the north was more industrial and the south was agricultural.

Ya'll are lucky I'm not a Yankee spy. Been gone for awhile and you haven't changed the PW. But I stopped on in to offer ya'll a drink or ten at least that's Gen. Was watching a program on the Science Channel, it was about a Sub that the Federals had built a year before the Hunley was built but it was sunk off the North Carolina coast during a hurricane and NOAA and the U.S Navy have been searching for it since 2004. It was developed by a Frenchmen and built ...

The movie is on tonight on the history channel at 9:00pm or 2100hrs for us military types, it was directed by the Scott brothers. They've done other films.
