Great to see another fine example of Southern manhood stepping up to serve under our sacred banner. If you ever get tired of the endless dress parades come out west were the weather is more tolerable, the women are so much more easy on the eye and the booze is cheap. Plus the working hours are short...

Welcome to the club and the Armies of the Confederacy, I do not cotton to General Millers assertion that the ANV is the greatest army, that title belongs to the Confederate Army of Tennessee. So if you are more of a young officer who likes womanising, excessive drinking, making fun of Smurfs and gen...

It is an honour for the band and I to play some fine southern tunes to celebrate the promotion's of these most excellent examples of Southern Manhood and Gentlemanliness. It will be a 50 50 set, the boys and I will play a tune and then drink, then play a tune and then drink - you get the picture, we...

I was first introduced to the American Civil War whilst in San Diego naval base back in 1980. I had made friends with a USN sailor on a next-door ship. He showed me this game called Terrible Swift Sword and I brought a copy. The first time I played the game I was the CSA and I have been a Reb ever s...

Congratulations Scott, however I am deeply a grieved about the 10 drink limit for the after match function. The Wooden Injun Tavern has not seen me for a few months, I hope that it is still the same old two bit sleazy dive.

MG. Derek Hampel, politics has never been a clean sport and the average man normally does not sully himself by getting directly involved. Having the CSA oversee a Union elections is by far the most fair and honorable method, the fact that two of us on the committee are also board members of one of t...

Pretty much sums it up, I was all for declaring Gen John Dragan as the winner, just to create the backlash and intrigue this election needed. But the CSA CoA threatened me with a 24 hour bar ban and I crumbled.

Gents the election is now closed, so I thought it prudent to report on the proceedings, but not the result. From the Election Committee point of view it was the most appalling election we have ever been involved in and the whole process has been a big disappointment, no trying to bribe the committee...

I checked out the Grant series (I now know he was a Yank). I did not think it was as good as the History Channel series about Hitler’s super secret killer Wombat Corps. Or the one they did about WW2 Aliens.
