Mid tier colonel seeks a “little” Overland. For a while, I have stared at that 1,300 turn monster and said, “someday”. I am looking for an opponent to try a “little”. I want to play a few hundred turns to see how it plays and understand it. Ideally, I would like to bump into two scraps, a Wilderness...

Somewhere in the open of Pennsylvania or Maryland (Gettysburg or Antietam). While I try to make it a habit to beat the AoNV, I am open to commanding the AoNV. I will not command the Army of Virginia. Will consider most big scenarios that involve some marching. I will generally respond once/day, more...

Lt. Col. Wilson (Salute) Your challenge is heard and accepted. While I considered your second Antietam, I am partial to Chickamauga. I am unfamiliar with that battlefield and look forward to the challenge. However, I can easily accept a different setting. Please send courier to leeferg2atyahoo(dot)c...

If you find no courageous Southerner, I would be happy to take this on (Rebels in Penn.). I was thinking about posting a very similar request, except I was looking at #78 Meeting Engagement. While this will only be a (long) maneuver, I actually enjoy commanding the Army of Northern Virginia. Major L...

Yes, I don't like the Far West Option either. (I never understood the point of the Option.) And I am fine playing the Union. In regards to the third party die roller: unfortunately, I think there is some temptation with the game to re-start the logfile if the desired result is not achieved, whether ...

I went back and reviewed the game, and I am willing to try PBEM. I think the Vassal logfile and the concealed and unconcealed messages can handle a lot of the game mechanics. But, I would request we identify a third party die roller for combat and initiative determination. Let me know your thoughts.

Actually, I just got HPS Antietam, but have played BG for a while. So HPS is new. Just reviewed the monster Hagerstown scenarios and can't get them out of my head. I am good for at least 4-5 turns/week. Send courier to leeferg2{at}yahoo{dot}com 1st. Lt. Lee Ferguson 1st Brigade, 2nd Division, XIV Co...

Gentlemen, It is early in the afternoon of April 6 and I need to determine what my Pittsburgh Landing strategy will be. I have a number of questions how reinforcements are handled in this game. Pittsburgh Landing is not a protected reinforcement entry for the Army of Ohio. But, 1. Does the entry hex...

No, I do not want Manual Defensive Fire, I just didn't know what MDF was. Ready, or should I say, I have withdrawn my pickets, sleeping in, and preparing my morning coffee.

Would you accept without either Quality Fire or Quality Melee Modifiers (you can choose). (And, was is MDF?) If so, send message to leeferg2(at)yahoo{dot}com.

Sorry for the delay. I was downstream and out of contact when the message arrived.
