General Swan Suh,

Kelly's Ford is an impossible task to accomplish against a half-asleep opponent never mind Ken Miller.

The Confederate States of America are grateful you honored our flag by defending our colors against impossible odds.

You have our respect and admiration.

Do we make anything? I mean, except trouble? Thinking: lobsters? (touchy, just like us) long horn cattle? (handy, if push comes to shove) Southern charm in a bottle? (that's a stretch) tattered hats & cloaks? (might not be in big demand) But, by all means apply the Confederate Made label. <salut...

Meister Sickbert Suh! Excellent suggestion. And while they are at it - how about some consistency in the trooper images. I got all used to the spic and span North Carolina boys in their white cross-straps, then the same image appeared out West. What I would like to see is boys from the same state go...

Your are right about Pelham at Kelly's Ford. It must be allowed because it did happen, albeit infrequently and with dire consequences. And then there's Jackson scouting ahead of his line of troops on the night he was shot...an exception to every rule.

My little list: (1) Deliberately making a meaningless move on the other side of the map in between meaningful moves so the replay jumps back and forth and the opponent can't make out what happened even if you slow the replay right down; (2) Using supply units to block line of sight; (I do this mysel...

If time permits, I toggle between the 3-D (close focus), 3-D (far focus), and 2-D (non-zoom-out). Each view presents a different perspective that is helpful. But, once I know what I want to do, I go to the 2-D for playing. For my money the view option with the greatest value is "Highlight Briga...

Fascinating. Is there a manual or other instruction how to do this? My fancy has always been to play a strategic level civil war game, but rather than permit the game engine to resolve the battles, fight each battle with the forces in play and terrain on a tactical level map. But this would require ...

With apologies to the historical purists, what would be of interest to me is an HPS game with: (1) A feature to allow the players to place their own forces on the map before play begins (2) An automatic map generation function - or - a way for players to customize a map Such a game would permit endl...

Some options: (1) A file compression utility - like WinZip or 7-Zip File compression saves mores space for some files (spreadsheets, word docs) and saves less space for others (picture files). I have no idea how much compression you could gain on a sound file. (2) Break Up The Sound Files into Small...
