As a long time member of the AoG(VMI Graduation 2001), and someone who has held numerous Division & Corps commands within it, I shall be sorry to see the 'old girl' go but times change and we must change with them. With that it seems that Option C would be the best choice.

There is a book coming out in May that aims to blow some holes in a few of the commonly accepted "facts" about Overland. I may have to go back to the drawing board. Brett Schulte put me on to the book. Its premise is that Lee's army was not as weak as thought, and also that its casualties...

That was exactly my thought, compared to the Union generals that went before that sentence sums Grant up perfectly.
