Kwhitehead,

Traveling with a loaded, live artillery round would be foolish, wouldn't it? First of all, it could go off, secondly, the powder could get damp and not fire at all, no?

A good Texas boy would just rent a horse and take his own tour, LOL. I've wanted to do that too. I can't make a recommendation, but having read the tours, I think they are pretty tame. They stay on trails and don't go off on tangents. By the way, I am originally from Philly, lived in Texas since '81...
