Gentlemen, I currently have the American Civil War version III: Sumter to Appomattox and I am looking for a more modern version of the strategic level Civil War to play. I am looking at The American Civil War (AGEOD), The Forge of Freedom (Matrix games), and The War Between the States (Gery Gisby's)...

Gentlemen, Back on the battlefield, a little rusty. I am looking for a Reb for any Campaign slow pace one turn per day (I work Second shift for now). I have HPS Gettysburg, Shiloh, Franklin, Ozark, and Corinth. I am particular about the rules No Density Modifier or Isolation rule. (Not sure about th...

Sir, My Responses: 1. Generally, do you play in 2D or 3D? 3D Zoom out mode, but I use Roff Hall's graphics, I like them a lot better. 2. What's the longest battle you've fought, in turns? 213 HPS Gettysburg - Trouble along the way North. 3. Do you play in single phase, or multi-phases? Answer as a p...

Gentlemen, I use the 3D Zoom out view mostly. I use 2D to follow road paths where I want to go and to check river crossings and breastworks. I also open my jump map (HPS Gettysburg), during the Reb replay to keep track of where the action is taking place; in the usual 3D zoom out mode you can not al...

Gentlemen, I have a complaint with the Large epic battle across the Patomic with the major city of Warrenton. Second and last battle in the campaign. This battle is more of a manuevering battle as the Reb tries to get to one of two exit hexes. The Yanks can not defend both in depth, due to all the o...

Dear Lt Col Andy Taylor, I will give you a slightly different answer. My choice of target depends on what I want my opponet to do. If I am out shooting him on the fire line then I will always fire at the largest high quality unit to reduce my opponets fire effectiveness. This also keeps him on the l...
