Ernie,

I, likewise, would be interested in receiving a copy. Can not participate in play at the moment, however. Working on some scenarios myself.

For those members familiar with the Binny's slogan: "If you can't find it at Binny's, it's probably not worth drinking!", we probably won't find this at Binny's.

What is being discussed can only be done by using the Weather option. I tried modifying the maximum visibility of day turns by "extending" dawn turns to cover the entire period until dusk. This produced problems in the game engine. John Ferry is correct that dawn and dusk are hard-wired. I...

If you just wish to see the scenario, send me an email and I will be glad to forward to you.

This has been posted at Opponent Wanted with only one CSA officer (BG Burns) on board. Need 2 more players (3 per side). The Confederate side in this scenario will have the same option -- up to a point -- Lee did in his Northern campaign: disengage from any battle which he felt was not going his way...

Army CO - Lee and 3 corps commanders. New multi-player GB scenario fought on Pipe Creek map. It is unrelated to any of the other Pipe Creek scenarios included as part of Campaign Gettysburg. There is as much historical as hypothetical in the scenario. Lee plans a coordinated move to threaten Baltimo...

Joe, Since you did not pose a question here, I assume you are throwing this out for discussion. As such, I would say the statement concerning the rifle vs. artillery crews is correct. If one accepts that a unit , not individual rifleman, had an effective range of 300-400 yards (various authors), and...

John F., thanks for your recent post. The strangest thing I have ever experienced in playing these games occurred in a Turn-based Gettysburg battle a number of years ago against Kennon. It was the night of July 1st and Wadsworth and Reynolds were stacked together behind the Union lines. They had sur...

The maximum number of men who could occupy a given hex has been a point of discussion at the MDT for years. The max indicated in a particular PDT is only the author's view of what he feels the maximum should be. It must be at least as great as the size of the largest unit in the game. Most PDTs use ...

John/Kennon/Gentlemen, Allow me to add some fuel to the fire. There are bugs in fatigue handling , let's say, in Turn-based play. I have seen and documented it -- at least for myself. I can't speak for Phase-based since I was not testing anything in that realm. Over the past year I have been testing...

This is not about gamey tactics, but a question for those who may have an opinion on the matter -- no short supply at the MDT. :) Not having checked every PDT of every game, I note that Field hexes have a Height value of 0. How, then, does this make them any different than Clear terrain? And, if so,...

Dave, I did almost all the work on those modules. It was an attempt to use the Battleground maps with the Corinth (HPS) game system. It worked well enough until HPS locked the OOBs and installed other checks to disable this process. For example, one was able to play the battle of Gettysburg using th...
