I saw direct play mentioned as a method of playing the games. I know nothing about it, what is it and how does it differ from normal playing and sending files.

Yes I am interested. But some questions. How long is this campaign, like does it take a year to play? Is it mainly large battles with several corps that take a long time to play a turn? I'm playing my first Getty campaign and the current battle is one called Martinsburg June 14, 1863. Should I be able to find and open that scenario somewhere in the game folder? I noticed the Campaign Gettysburg folder also contains a folder named Campaign that has many scn files. Is there a way to ...

The Pea Ridge download is the only one I'm having problems with, it will open and I can make one move and then get BG exe error and it closes out. Anyone have any ideas? I assume others can get it to work.
