I haven't made it to the Pennsylvania portion of the campaign yet so if I'm interpreting you correctly, then I haven't seen the 'main Gettysburg map'. I'm assuming that it is the map where the biggest armies of the Campaign Gettysburg are designed to meet. What territory does it cover? Col Ned Simms...

1. It’s all about span of control. If the span of control does not exceed five then no one in the club should be pressed excessively hard, with the exception of the ACs and CoAs who could use some staff officers to soften their load. At any level above BC, if someone doesn’t do their ‘job’, ...

I just have to play someone who has beaten the likes of Ian Rousell, Bob Weir, and many other highly respected commanders. How about BGN 20? I'll contact you tonight or tomorrow after I finish with the trapeze act. Your choice as to whether or not you want to make it a mirror game because it looks l...

It is quite common for me to see some of my units or my opponent's units not conduct defensive fire in a TS BG game. That applies to infantry, cavalry, and artillery.

You're right, Ted. It was in the Campaign folder although the scenarios in there don't have scenario names. I assume that I can see the Aldie scenario as 5_57.SCN although I didn't spend any time figuring out how to open it and thus verify that is it. Now my question is why is 5_Aldie, Var 4 listed ...

Dee Dubya! I don't believe that I've seen my name in the same paragraph with the word "innocence" since 3rd grade (and it should have stopped in the 1st grade along about the time that I got married). Actually I was wanting to know so that I could reference it when I filed the End Game Report. Rich,...

I grew up in America's countryside. There were more hills, valleys, ridges, and streams that had to be crossed than Carter had Little Liver Pills. The only hills, valleys, or ridges that had names were either the real big ones or some of those that were in town. Only the streams were practically all...

Thank you for the interest but an opponent has been found. ----------------------------------------------------- This is a Yank who played a couple of Corinth Campaigns back when it first came out and hasn't played a HPS game since. I played a CG campaign against the A/I and didn't like it. I tried ...

Thank you, John. There are those who would tar and feather you for encouraging me. If they do, immediately send me a line as I know this great house down in Cincinnati where the girls have this thing about feathers. Bill!! I came over looking for you. Where did you go? I was just stepping out the door to sign up for a tobacco spitting contest when someone accepted the challenge. Hot diggity dog, saddle up my mule and let's head for the battlefield. Thank you for your time but one battle ought to do it. I have faith that the others will return once the wind changes...
