Thanks for the explanation. I believe this is unique to Overland (?) so I wasn't sure if it was a glitch of sorts. Next time I see a lonely ford ripe for sneaking a whole corps over, I'll be sure to send out my scouts first.

In several of the games I have played so far in Overland I have noticed that not all fords are passable. Is there anything on the map, or rules, that explains have to determine whether a ford is passable without actually endeavoring to try and cross one?

I often have the same question...but since there are so many now...I just select them all, except for MDF, and play...but on occassion have gone back to think what the hell does this one mean?

Very helpful. Thank you!

I remember there was a site that had updates for the TS Battleground games. All I remember is I had to run the updates to play the games when I first joined th club. Can anyone point me to where I can get these updates?

Just bought the Overland game and am looking to get my feet wet. Will take any game, preferably between 20 and 50 turns. If you have one you would like to play, send to bkolcun@hotmail<dot>com.

Not wedded to any op rule in particular...but prefer to play with ADF only due to my RL schedule.

If you are still interested, I 'd like to play the scenario: "Scrap East of the Mountains" in HPS Gettysburg. Let me know.
