A special <salute!> to John Ferry for designing this latest installment in the Civil War Battles series. Without his dedication, the game might never have happened. And never to forget John Tiller < salute! > without whom the entire CWB series would surely never have happened. I have dreamt of a gam...

Has anyone had this problem? I tried down loading a couple of games that I am not current playing and I get this download message. Salerno43_400msi isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust Salerno 43_400msi before you open it. then I click learn more and a report page comes up. I can not open...

I wonder if the save games are backwards compatible? Quite possibly not. You are advised to finish any ongoing games with your current install. Note: It is possible to support multiple installs of the same game(s). In the install procedure, just be sure to install to a different location. For examp...

Are map labels toggled ON? By toggling map labels OFF, you might be able to speed up the replays (and map scrolling in general).

Hi Nick, I was able to figure out how to create maps, OOB's and Scenario's so I tried it and created the Antietam scenario. If this is The Real Deal, if you have cracked the code/system to enable bug-free, no-compromises, no-gotchas new scenario and map creation, fantastic! A dead game is reborn!

It's not just the JTS Civil War Battles series, or any other ACW game. I have insider knowledge of several officially sanctioned publisher surveys (typically with responses numbering in the hundreds). In each case, the percentage of AI-only or AI-predominantly players is roughly 80% or more. It seem...

I will be sure to give it one or more tries sometime soon.

You are correct about the 80%. It's a verified fact.

For the past 20+ years, I have played the various John Tiller American Civil War games H2H solitaire exclusively. I gave up on playing vs. the AI long, loooong ago.

What you describe sounds more like an OS level issue -- i.e., it's not so much JTS' lookout as it is Microsoft's problem (if not your system is somehow messed up). When one of these MSI installations fails, have you tried a web search on the exact error message? The reasons presented at the time of ...

Berto <salute> I think you are well known to many of the long standing members to the Club but not to me (joined 2017) and I expect most others who have joined in the last couple of years. Please explain yourself sir, and why you seem to have acquired this very high level of service attitude? Since...

My question is, obviously, is this a known bug?

Um, now it is.

And now fixed, available in future updates.

Sorry for the trouble.

Yeah, I read stuff, I keep abreast of latest developments. Speaking of which, we are currently working on <censored>. Bug fixes, game extensions, new features, maybe even a much improved AI -- these will happen sooner or later. Well, maybe not sooner. My hands are full for now working on the much de...

In 3D, units can sometimes be hidden behind intervening higher elevations. If that is the case here, there is not much if anything we can do about it. In the meantime, just use 2D to view and move such units.
