Interesting, if you got a source were I can read up on it I would appreciate it. For the game they seem to already tried to shift away from melee, I guess thats why unlike the Napi series here you have to have an undisrupted unit to conduct a melee at all and the defender isn't lowered in his defend...

Similar to the background sounds we have in the latest Napi games?
That wouldn't be bad, it sets a certain atmosphere when here distant battle noise or things like troops or wagons passing by.

Regarding the statistics, some have the viewpoint that bayonet wounds very seldom recorded because you usually died from a bayonet wound. No one would try to hit you in the arm, leg or head they would rather aim for the stomach and if hit it would be over. And I think the reason for a casualty was n...

I was thinking about melee and what happened when the units attempted to get on each others throat. I got he impression that there could be a range of outcomes from a premature withdraw with few casualties up to real hand-to-hand combat with high casualties, that is why I'm thinking about the "...

Was progress made in solving this?
Doesn't look like it was, I still get mails from the NWC but none for this board.
I suggest sending a mail manually using the address of the NWC notification and see what happens.

@John Ferry
Is that a new PDT? I don't see Overland 7 in the game folder.

@General Whitehead
Well for Griffin I see 23 infantry units on the map and 7 of them have D and so should be at E, none is at E and so none should and at F, if so you have lowered them further than 1 level.

@John Ferry Osprey isn't that bad although because they are so short(usually around 50 pages only) there isn't much detail, but they are always good to get a general overview. The notes about Warren are more about him getting off trails and roads and into the bushes to take up position, especially W...

Yea and often it goes unnoticed, JTS has release an update for Antietam a week ago, I expect the HPS version will not take long to show up.

Yep we had some new patches in August 2014 for the CW series, unfortunately Antietam wasn't part of it but hopefully we see it soon.
