That a routing unit captures leaders & supply sounds acceptable but that it can capture artillery doesn't make sense, at best if the artillery was limbered and so not ready for combat. More worrying is that routing units not only ignore ZOCs but also enemy units. What is the sense of encircling ...

How was the situation at all if they routed towards the enemy?

I just answered your mail and send the patch along with it.
In case you didn't get it spam/virus protection from you mailprovider might has stopped it. In that case I could upload the patch and you could download it.

That Norton triggers a false alarm is neither new nor bad, rather to much protect than not enough. All you have to do is either add exceptions to Norton so that neither the folder you place the patch nor the game folder are auto-protected, or you contact Norton so that they take care of this false a...

So while I don't always agree with everything they do IMO the support of older Tiller titles is better than anything I have seen in 30+ years of buying pc wargames.

Damned right!

Seems my mails don't reach you, at least i got no message of delivery so I try it here: Hi Paul, who starts doesn't matter, the Union player can also set up everything and send the file over to the Confederate. That you don't see any units likely means that you still miss the Banshee weather files. ...

1. Still to fix is the minor but annoying bug that weapons with a fire value of zero on the first range are not showing up in the in-game PDT screen. Currently the missing weapons are in slot d, e & v in all PDTs, these are all weapons with a fire value of zero on 1 hex. 2. Note sure if the weap...

Well WDS showed with Petersburg that it can be justified to put a lot work into such an old engine. And they want to bring all the old games to the level of Petersburg. That the snapshot feature does not work the CW way in NAP is maybe even just because of some inactive code. AFAIk the extreme FoW w...

Thanks MG Siragusa, looking forward to our game.

@David Martin
We could start a smaller scenario from Ozark if you like, "The Battle of Newtonia, Sept 30, 1862 (Historical)" for example in the weather version from Old Banshee.

Excepting that I don't think it works that way in NB, EAW, or MP - you just get what you have on your screen. It did what you said for Gettysburg though so that ought to save some time. I can confirm this for the Napolenic Battles(Austerlitz), you just get what you currently have on screen and not ...

Now, I worked through all the weapons in the PDTs and in comparison to Overland all none-artillery weapons got lower values while all artillery has gotten higher. On 1 hex it's not that much but rather high fire values are kept in ranges up to 10 hexes. Usually we had a quick drop in that range and ...
