I did some looking and we are playing the one day battle and Longstreet historically didn't arrive until late the 1st day so I guess that answers that. Objectives would be nice. With all the woods it makes it very hard to decide where to advance. Lt General Jon Thayer III Corps Army of Northern Virg...

I am playing the Chickamauga campaign and we have reached the Battle of Chickamauga and there are no objectives. Is this an error? Also Longstreet and Kershaw's Division are missing. I know Kershaw's Divsion was engaged and I thought Longstreet was also present. Lt General Jon Thayer III Corps Army ...

I have been playing mostly western theater games lately and for the Rebs cavalry plays a major role. I am currently losing a Murfeeboro battle mainly due to my losses in cavalry. Granted I did a few dumb things with them that has hurt but for the most part they were used like infantry. I could have ...

In my opinion this subject always leads back to the effectiveness of units after sustained combat. There was a lot of discussions some time ago about "Brigade Effectiveness" like there was with the board games "Terrible Swift Sword" and "Gleam of Bayonets" and I think something along those lines wou...

If I remember correctly the whole melee in column issue came from BG Shiloh where the Rebs could march down the roads and cut off fixed Union troops. I would think that the only time the tactic would be used would be if you had to rush a unit up a road to plug a gap. The unit could then get hit pret...

I have never opened a scenario editor and would not know what I was looking for to see the "Campaign Tree" or whatever. I can understand the "why" the campaign ends...it would likely move into Ohio. But as this is a game perhaps a scenario could follow a Reb victory at Perryville with a subsequent F...

I have just won the Chickauamga campaign by getting a major victory at Perryville. Hurrah for me, the war is over. Unfortunately I was looking forward to playing the Chickamauga campaign. I kinda hoped I might get to the Battle of Murfreeboro or maybe even the Battle of Chickamauga since the game is...

I don't know if this has been discussed but why aren't captured guns worth any victory points? Also in Campaign Chickamauga I hit a Union gun with counter battery fire and the distruction of one gun was worth 390 points. This seems high. I get 390 for hitting one gun and zero for capturing over 10. ...
