Glad people are using the Engineering pages. Apparently you missed the comment about the Flags Value. 0 Flags Name No flags defined, value should be 0. The last I heard the Weather Flag has no affect, I'm guessing it was put in just in case additional changes came up but no code has been put in to u...

Ernie, Ned Sims sent me an updated scn file from 2000, the one that loads with ver 1.34 is from 1997. Apparently there is a problem in the reinforcement schedule, a couple of duplicate units on the union side, that cause the error. An update that Rich Hamilton put out apparently that I forgot about,...

Wanted to see if anyone else has come across this. Apparently there are not too many yanks willing to play the old BG games and I got involved in a RBCT game, BGG 04H Decisions, Decisions rather than see the union forfeit. In any case I installed Talonsoft BGG, the 1.34 update and the 32 bit update....

Gen. Dancer, The current crop of HPS/Tiller WWII games include the Panzer Campaigns series, these are battalion/company level games on the order of the old SPI 'Monster Games' Wacht am Rhein/Atlantic Wall but with individual losses of men/guns/afvs rather than the step losses used in the SPI games. ...

Gentlemen <salute> The Confederacy appears to alive and well, it is the Union short on officers willing to participate in the Red Badge of Courage Tournament. I believe there are currently three fine officers of the CSA awaiting opponents which I'd prefer we win on the field of battle, not by forfe...

Kennon's post about covers the way to change the pdt file used by a scenario, for those of you who aren't aware of it there is a webpage that provides information of the various files used in the HPS and Tiller Games and how to modify them. If you're interested check out the ACWCO Engineering Depart...

Gen. Brooks, I can't help you with your combat record but I do have some old html files from when I kept the AotS webpages. According to the Retired/Reserve page I have from 2001 you had earned Medal of Honor - now known as the Defender of the Union Medal Distinguished Service Medal T2K Ribbon - Ten...

Well it appears I now get to welcome you back to the club that you helped introduce me to many years ago.

It's been 14 years since you welcomed a new cadet to the ACWGC West Point as the Union Academy was known before the name was changed.

Been a member since Jan 2000 and I have a considerable library of BG mods on CD & DVD backups but don't recall either of the scenarios you're looking for. However during a recent check of the DoR scenario listings I found listings for BGBR for the following scenarios JSC Jackson's Shenandoah Cam...

Actually I merely sent John a copy of something Robert Frost put out to explain how he calculated small arms ammo for his large scenarios. I used it on several scenarios and found it works fairly well. Units can run out of ammo but they generally have enough to fight an extended 3-4 day battle if th...

Back in 2010 the AotS and the AoA held a tournament. Prior to the tournament we put together a list of 'balanced' scenarios by asking the opinions of various club members. Here is a copy of the list. HPS Shiloh 013CK-Calf Killer Creek 046 FD_Rebels March on FH 063FK-Blood on the Road to Franklin 200...

I am pleased to report a Union Major Victory. Gen Swan has surrendered his forces at Kelly's ford on turn 14 of 25, actually most of them have been captured including Fitzhugh Lee, Jeb Stuart and the Gallant Pelham. Not that they had much chance outnumbered almost 3-1 with little room to maneuver ha...
