I think this question is being asked because JTS released Petersburg as a mobile app a few months back and Rich Walker said the PC game was being worked on... |

I think that the doubters have strong points. We are a niche group (turn based games) in a niche market (Civil War Games). Two things come to mind- (1) what is the experience for our members? Are we finding opponents? Are we getting answers to our game mechanics and history questions? Are our member... |

Gents, I am seeking a Rebel player for one of the smaller to medium sized Overland scenarios. I prefer to play phase based but will play turn as long as the turn based has the optional melee phase rule checked. I have played Overland a lot as the Rebs and now I want to try as the Yanks. These are th... |

John, Are there any important things to know about the scenario changes? Any changes in design philosophy or things that radically alter a scenario?
Thanks! |

I think that Chickamagua is also really good, with a lot of interesting battles and scenarios. I have played the Battle of Chickamagua three times, including once as the Union, and think it is a lot of fun.
I do like Overland too. And Peninsula, and Gettysburg, and Chancerlorsville...and Corinth... |

Regarding the "Golden Morale" units from the old Talonsoft NiR game, I think that the HPS/Tiller games have the same ability to add that extra +2. It was in the Napoleon's Russian Campaign game (there were campaign decisions that would lower the morale if, for example, you chose not to fig... |

I think if you spike, then destroy no one gets any points. |

I bought the game and have looked at it a bit. I need to read the manual. Then I need to learn the game. I am swamped with work for a month or two but after that I would love to give you the opportunity to beat my Yanks. I like the fact the game has smaller battles, making it easier to learn the eng... |

I am sure it could be adapted and it likely has locked maps. Not sure about the OOB. The engine would likely be quite good for it. Please, by all means, contact Rich and demand that he let you make us a game! If it meets the standards of your mods it will be fantastic. |

A question about the timing of Longstreet's attack--could it have gone in any earlier? From what I have read it could not have gone in all that much earlier based on the marching time to get in place. Losing Hood early in the attack certainly hurt too. Guelzo also points out that Jackson's famous at... |

I just finished Guelzo's book on the battle (literally finished it on Saturday) and he posits that Longstreet's attack was comparable in scheme (flank attack, with Lee repeating an approach that worked at 2nd Bull Run and Chancerlorsville), execution, and result. He points out that Longstreet's atta... |

I played a 7 Pines "version I" game a few years back that was great (it is a version where the full Yankee army releases). However, the 7 Pines scenarios have issues if you allow bridge repair (that was added in after the testing was done) and the one on one battle of this game that I play... |
