I think splitting the Confederate batteries into sections and individual guns is necessary if the designer wishes to accurately portray all the different ordnance assigned to each battery. Mine's working as well - about the only thing I can think of might be if using the icons on the gui, it is the screwdriver/wrenc button - not the shovel button.

From the user manual: Bridge Repair By default, a bridge must have a nonzero strength before it can be crossed by units and any bridge that has been damaged cannot be repaired. When the optional Bridge Limit and Repair rule is in effect, there are two changes that occur. The first change is that the...

A few years ago Robert Frost created scenarios where max stacking in a hex was the equivalent of 400 men for the very reason that 400 infantry in line or 8 guns would have a frontage of approximately 125 yards. I guess that was before things got locked, because he was able to divide large regiments ...

I recently submitted what I perceived to be a bug to WDS support and was informed they are working on a CWB update which they hope to get out before the end of the year. The bug in question happened during a Vicksburg scenario (large Champions Hill) in which artillery routed into a swamp hex. Parame...

I would also like to thank you for doing the AARs. As long as it took me to read, it must have taken much longer to write.

Still on the fence, but the AARs were very illuminating.

WDS has now confirmed that the game titles are not correctly displaying losses for the Union in game titles checked. [Since my original posting I has also noticed in an Antietam scenario the Victory Dialog does not show any Supply Losses but does show Supply Point Losses as they accrue (at a rate o...
