OK Lt McDowell, that is quite enough of Rebels prowling my fair hills of Missouri. And as far as wintering in my home town of St. Louis, that will just not do. If you still need a Yankee to instruct you on the finer points of warfare, I have an opening in my schedule. You can send a rider to admiral... |

The Union army has just barely survived a furious battle in the Cemetery Ridge Division between BG Shaw and Col Gandt. I believe that if Col Gandt had one more hour of game time the entire Union Cavalry might have been destroyed. The Union forces had occupied the high ground in the middle and contro... |

Col Ellis, do you have any updates for this tournament? Also can you update the web page standings when you get a chance? I am curious as to where people stand. Thanks.

I would like to recommend Col Michael Gandt of the ANV as a top notch opponent. Michael gave me a real run for my money in the 2nd round of the El Deguello tournament. He took turns consistently and we had a very exciting match. If you are looking for a really tough match, Michael is your guy. Brig ... |

Gen Hulinsky,
You started a discussion about this type of tournament last year maybe? What ever happened to that post? I wanted to look at some of the names who expressed interest back then. Can you help out?

I think that Gen Hulinsky's suggestion of a tournament review board sounds like an excellent idea. I do have to disagree though with MG Ringbloom's years of service requirement. I do not think it is the amount of time you have played the game that determines experience. Some people can pick up a lot... |

I do not feel that we can just rescore games that were already played using the HPS scoring criteria. The Union commanders played knowing that they had 750 points to play with and not 375. I do like Col Hebert's idea of just scraping the first round and starting again with the 2nd scenario. I feel t... |

Congratulations Joe! Keep up the good work. Don't forget us little guys as you climb the ladder of success. I look forward to your eventual campaign for the White House. The AoC will be behind you all the way.

Col Ellis Sir, I guess I had a misunderstanding of the scoring that I would like for you to clarify. This tournament scoring is NOT a differential casualty score? You earn points only for killing the enemy forces regardless of how many men you lose? If this is true then it is possible for a player t... |

Col Hebert Sir, I meant no offense but you were claiming to be the low man on the Confederate ladder. I never take anyone lightly which is why I have a very good record. I have been impressed with all of your work from the very beginning of your enlistment. I do intend on defeating my first round op... |

Gen Simms, You have an excellent idea for a tournament. I would be honored to participate. Please sign me up for all three divisions. I hope you can make some arrangements to avoid pitting the same players against each other in the first round of the tournament. Since I will be the Union number 1 se... |
