Lt Treuting, If you have the Matrix versions and willing to accept that I might only manage 1-2 turns a week for the next month I can give you a game. In the middle of a project but after mid August my schedule will open up and I will probably be able to manage 3-4 turns a week. I normally play all ...

Ned, Have I run into enemy units with cavalry going down a road through woods, yes. Has it occurred in hexes I should have been able to see, no it happened because it was a curve and the enemy unit was not in the skirmisher control hexes. As I said if this occurs again it is a bug and you should sen...

Not sure how you had cavalry skirmishers not seeing enemy units to the right and left hexes. If it happens gain you should save the file and send it to JTS Support. I ran tests when putting together the update for the manuals and verified that both infantry and cavalry skirmishers see directly forwa...

The User Manual notes that mounted cavalry cannot be meleed by infantry or dismounted cavalry in the Melee Restrictions. The Artillery Capture section notes captured guns can be fired by enemy units but not by Officers. It doesn't specifically state that the unit has to be in line to fire guns so mo...

Doug,

Great to here from you again.
What version are you running ? (Help - About)
Did you update to JTS Versions ?
If you're still running the old HPS version you'll need to contact Rich Hamilton at JTS Support.

The new warhorse came yesterday, started loading him up this morning.
Will take a bit to get him fully fitted out but I am back in the saddle and took him out for a ride to Fort Donelson this afternoon.

I can't think of anyone who deserves this award more than Gen. Meyer. I've known Joe for 14 years and IMO he has done more for the Union Army and the ACWGC than anyone I've known in the 21 years I've been associated with the club. I could spend a lot of time listing his accomplishments but I will ke...

Can use the wife's pc for emails so I will check them but will not have any way to play games for a while.

The reason he can't cross the bridge is it is only at 40 strength, you would need 100 to cross cavalry, 150 to cross artillery and wagons with the Bridge Limit and Repair option on you have to meet these conditions. If you don't use that rule you can cross the bridge but you won't be able to build o...

Gentlemen, Would the following additions to the manual make things clearer to you ? Unit Types Supply Wagons are used to resupply Infantry units that become Low or Out of Supply. For each unit of strength, they can resupply 10 men. They have no ability to attack the enemy but they can be captured by...

You can find information on Network Play in the updated Users Manual, it lists the ports Gen. Sands mentioned as well as some ways to find your IP address and walks you thru the various dialog menu settings for playing a network game.

Without John Tiller there probably would not be an ACWGC as we know it.
He definitely deserves to be remembered.
