BUMP. Where are all the damn Rebs? It must be late 1864 and the Confederacy is failing -- desertion is rampant. What gives?
Is it me? Do I smell of northern aggression |

As I recall, there were some hard fighting soldiers from Mississippi in Lee's ANV that held the line at Spotsylvania. Maybe some of those same brave Mississippians are still in this Tavern and are willing to defend their reputation in them Overland Campaign? I am looking for a good game or campaign.... |

This challenge is still open.
How about Haw's Shop? Or a Meadow's Bridge? Or the Siege of Richmond?

Any dirty Rebs ready for a short to medium length Overland scenario?
It's like the day after Appomattox... not a Rebel to be seen. Send a telegram to Washington... "The war is over!" |

I have already adopted a "house rule" for Overland: The use of assault columns against breastworks and entrenchments is permissible after May 10th--the date of Upton's introduction of the tactic against the west side of the Mule Shoe. Grant ordered the same tactic in the May 12th assault a... |

Gentlemen: Your positive comments on our efforts are most appreciated. We also enjoy the critical ones but I can assure you that we've heard them all before--from ourselves. We had a great team testing the game, including some very knowledgeable fellows. We know that Overland represents the best of ... |

I would do it tomorrow if I could afford it but I just got the kids through college and now I have to save big time for the next 9-10 years. I would like to watch the grass grow by the time I'm 63. |

I think the concerns expressed about this title are premature. Yes, in most of the longer scenarios, the CSA player is likely to succumb to numbers unless they play defensively and use the tools that this game engine provides them -- trenching ability. John Ferry didn't just arbitrarily raise the ra... |

What's this? A real live Rebel? I was beginning to think that we had won the war and that all the Confederates had returned to their homes and families. This is great news. Let me know what optionals you would like and I will start up the scenario.
