For what it is worth, I made a copy of my Antietam folder, installed 4.05, and was able to pull up an ongoing game with no problem. The game turn was created in 4.04.1.

Why AS Johnston and Bragg, but not Buell and Rosecrans? Johnston basically just fought one battle.

Is this one of those questions for which there is no correct answer? In terms of leadership incompetence, the two armies were mirror images. There were political operatives and glory hounds on both sides. And, of course, the A of P faced Lee. Buell, and then Rosecrans, were not Lee. Forced to come d...

Were the game system to employ a different base -- 24, for example -- the 2/3 ratio is possible for column movement ...

I have found that the install scripts don't work correctly at times. I had problems installing some 4.01 updates and could only get them to work if I uninstalled 4.00 first.

George,

Welcome aboard the Union ship! Costa Rica! Haven't seen many references in all the Civil War history I have read.

If the criteria be "high strung" and "low energy", Bragg and Polk would certainly qualify.

The fact that there were no problems for the first 13 turns is puzzling. So, I can no longer lay the "blame" on the Union solely. If the zipped file doesn't solve the issue, then you are really in the weeds. You could ask if any of the players on either side did something different in turn...
