Jeff,
It's good to have you in the club. I am proud to be one of those 35 opponents. And don't worry, I have no life also. [:D]

I am familiar with former SNL cast member Jim Breuer, is this the same man? I enjoyed Jim on that show. And, yes, I am perhaps the greatest Wiffler of all time, if I do so say so. [:D]

Welcome to the CSA, Jeremy. Fear not, for we all 'sucked horribly' at one point or another. [8D] Very soon you'll be beating Yanks like it's your job. Wait, that will be your job! [:D]

I live very near Chantilly. Kennon is right about housing. The farther West you go, the less congestion you will find. But to be honest, the entire area is growing so much that there is no way to avoid the wretching traffic. I thought Rich Hamilton lives in Richmond? If so he is not a NOVAite.[:D] L... |

Mike, When I say that I do not want to recreate history I was referring to restricting my tactical play to match historical use. Things such as keeping a brigade in a continuous unbroken line, using cavalry only as dismounted soldiers and reconnaissance, and limiting malees and ZOC kills. I am perfe... |

I cannot think of anything more boring, nor would I have ever joined this club, if my only option in playing were to historically recreate the battles in question. I can read books for the history. Lt. Col. Brad Slepetz III Corps AoG http://www.burke1.demon.co.uk/image013.gif |

Does anyone here really believe the Rebel player can beat a competent Union commander at the battle of Gettysburg by limiting himself to purely 'historical' tactics?
