In response to Dierk's question, the words "cease and desist" are not actually used. In the legal field a letter of this type is generally referred to as such. I received a copy of the cease and desist letter and am in the process of researching the issue. When I complete my efforts, I will post an opinion regarding the right to the use of the name.

I find the position taken by the USMA to be totally frivolous. I am amazed that we gave in to their high handed tactics. I do not think the government has any proprietary interest in the place name of West Point. I am sorry we went to all the trouble to change everything.
