Opinions on this please Gentlemen, is my behaviour acceptable or not? Playing as Union in a HPS Gettysburg scenario. I have 3 dismounted Cavalry Regiments moving into position to assault a single Reb Infantry Regiment (in line) defending a stream hexside. The Reb is disrupted and stacked with a lead...

Further to earlier discussion on this thread, can I have opinions on this? My enemy captures my guns---My enemy spikes my guns---I recapture my guns---I re-crew my guns---I try to move my guns(to get away from enemy units arriving soon nearby) BUT: Spiked guns cannot move?!!! I thought spiking invol...

Since turning to the HPS games more and more, the one thing I really miss is the hand drawn maps of the BG games. Just got back into playing some of the older games recently and I stumbled across something odd that I hadn't noticed before. On BG Chickamauga, open one of the Murfreesboro scenarios an...

Just started a HPS Gettysburg Campaign. Both myself and my opponent have the PBEM encryption box checked but we are not being asked for passwords when we exchange files. I am fairly sure we have opened the campaign game correctly, but something is definitely wrong?! Anyone else had this experience? ...

I tried Sir, I did try! The link just won't work for me, I don't know if the problem is my end or the website? I did see a post somewhere recently where Gen. Miller said there had been problems with his site. I'll remember you're name Gen. Bastiani. Another Reb to settle a personal score with...mayb...

If someone could please send me Ken Miller's HPS Corinth Leaders.bmp and Units.bmp? I would be very much obliged. I had them and lost them and can't seem to find them anywhere to download them again! and Ken Miller's site seems to be out of action recently? [?] Capt. Jim Wilkes, 2nd Brigade, Cavalry...

I'm slowly purchasing the HPS titles one by one. But if I can get 5 for 3 then I may just go mad and splash out! If I get all of them eventually I hope that they will finally unlock the game so I can mod myself a copy of the BG Prairie Grove battlefield and make a version of that scenario at last [:...

Well, after being very impressed initially, I don't think it's quite as good as I'd hoped. Somehow i't just feels a bit 'dead' really. Certainly the A.I. is the most competent i've seen in a realtime game of this kind. I enjoy leading just a Brigade in the bigger scenario's but there's still not muc...

I've downloaded the free demo but I find it very complicated. Just too complicated for my little brain to enjoy. I've had to have several attempts at the basic tutorial to try to get into it. I may yet play the demo to death and eventually get used to managing the game, there is a huge amount of det...

Day one of a 3 day battle at HPS Gettysburg, I race a Battery of 3" Rifled and another of Napoleons to Little Roundtop as the afternoon get's late. I want guns up on the summit as it offers good vantage of the general area. But hang on, HPS Gettysburg map has got rough hexes on top of Little Roundto...

Ive just got hold of a copy of Mad Minute games ACW 'wargame' Take Command 2nd Manassas. I hadn't heard of it, just stumbled across it really, but I think i'm quite impressed [?] I checked all the forum's here, but cant find any mention of it, did it create a fuss in the club when it was released?
