Reporting in. Busy on the homefront, but I will be looking for a battle very soon. Most have come to an end. Playing and sort of training myself in the AGEOD civil war game also. LTG Laabs I A of M |

Yankees always have a bad case of the runs. Was that on purpose?

Sir, Present. Nice option to muster this month and be covered for next. Commanders might want to push this information forward to those who aren't mustering quickly--and wait longer than they should---opps like myself. For the poll, I'll add my own. "Okay, now who had the turn last." LTG L... |

We at command seem to have lost track of Brig. Gen Mike Burns, hopefully he is out scouting some good union info for us. If anyone knows of his whereabouts please send a wire (e-mail)(help from opponents also would be good). Likely the mess oh paper I have all about my disordered desk, but would lik... |

Gents, Southern officer looking for an AGEOD opponent. I have the game, but have never played it beyond the First Bull Run scenario with anyone, so I'm effectively a newbie at the game. I'm a long time member and am good for consistent turnaround on moves. Willing to play any scenario. Even willing... |

Like another Officer I also have a nearly "never ending MP game of Pen. going". Strangely it appears that it will end. Looks like a CSA major victory but we have 20+ turns left. Just finished a battle of Jackson with Gen. Meyer, for the Western tourney. He was a very good sport, and was in... |

Welcome Fld. Lt. Davey. I think I may have once played someone on the Yankee side with a similar name......any relation to a northern cousin? Eitherway, welcome. Let me know if there is anything I can do besides peel you off the barstool, come time to beat up some Yankee..... LTG Laabs I A of M |

As I see it the problem with Gettysburg (and keep in mind I like playing the game), is that the course is so well set. The Union does its best to retreat, the Confederates do their best to engage. And depending on this, much is determined. In the real battle, it wasn't so set in stone. Would the Uni... |

Quoted so it doesn't find its way deep into the thread. Thank you sir for your service to the club, and moreso the opportunity to get to know a little about yourself. I'll still cheer for ISU rather than Nebraska. Michael Laabs <blockquote id="quote"><font size="3" face="book antiqua" id="quote">quo... |

If it is constructed without nails, that for the era would be a very major reason/advantage. Nails were a valued commodity from what I can understand. I believe there is evidence that they were re-used after fires, which if so would tell you something of their value...verses a fence which might just... |

General Walter, I see what you are getting at, but I think perhaps a better solution is for some imaginative type in the club coming to the cabinet and perscribing two or three logical rule combinations. People would be able to deviate, of course, but we could set up matches as--lets play rule combi... |
