I recently played a two-day scenario in HPS GB too and found the casualties to be high. I hope this is not a trend...I liked the HPS system compared to the BG series where it was not uncommon for entire divisions to be killed to the last man when they really should have been rendered useless due to ...

You all only THOUGHT we wasn't there! Actually we're following the trail of empty whiskey bottles and we'll disarm you and take you captive tonight when we find you passed out on the trail. [}:)] Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif

I use the graphics mods previously mentioned. I use 3D in Nappy, ACW, and Early American series (and the Talonsoft BG Series), and 2D for the PZC, MC, and SqB series. I use 2D in ACW to check maps occasionally for roads and river fords among other things since they don't show up well or are hidden o...

In Central Ohio the deer have overrun the suburban metro parks to the point where they have brought in professional hunters to cull the herd. Maybe they're having similar problems there. Deer can cause lots of damage and even intimidate park guests. Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.c...

Bill, I just upgraded my computer and the family computer including installing XP 64 on the family machine. I backed up information to an external hard drive before I reformatted my computer that included the entire Talonsoft directory tree with all the BG games. I just tested the BG games with the ...

BGC was the only game that used Safedisk copy protection. The version of safedisk TS used was not compatible with Windows XP and TS never patched it. The bgc.exe has the safedisk copy protection removed. The .dll you refer to may be the fix for Gateway computers. Maybe your game files are corrupted....

Make sure you get your 1.34 patch from here http://www.hc-llc.net/games/patches.html not from Talonsoft. Maybe that's the problem.

It should have a DIRECTORY called Campaign Penninsula, not a file. In that directory the FILE CPP.EXE should be placed. Frankly, for the HPS games I prefer the nocd patches. You have to have a game cd for the BG series though... Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotff...

Extemely small unit breakdowns, especially by cav, will probably lead to extremely gamey tactics particularly zoc kills. [:(]

Seems strange going from the difficult side to play to the easier one, what with all those A morale rebs and sweet C&C rules. Didn't think Scott would need a crutch. Hasn't been that long has it? [;)] Lt. General Dirk Gross XIV Corps/AoC http://home.columbus.rr.com/odotffl/images/14corps.gif
