Sir, I think that would be fun! Not sure how it would be set up with the current games. I had an idea that I feel still could be interesting is to play a game but both players do not watch the replay? That way it could be possible for units to vanish without a trace - an isolated cavalry regiment or...

I'm afraid the score between myself and General Perrenod now stands at 2 Major Victories for the Yankees - Pender survived (just about) to fight another day...[B)]

Welcome Sirs to the IV Cavalry Corps! 2nd worst Corps in the Confederate Army? Well that should make the 3rd Division's Mulitplayer Challenge a sure thing for the blue bellies....yet when we look - there are none to be seen! Perhaps the 2nd Worst are still more than a match for any Blue outfit![8D] ...

Sirs, 2 Southern officers (Brig. Gen and Fld. Lt)are looking to raid Sherman's supply lines in Georgia. Prefer a medium length battle 1-2 days - suggested map locations are Rocky Ridge Face, Cassville or Resaca but we'll eat up them Yankee rations wherever we find 'em! Please send a courier through ...

I vote 3,4,5 and 6 also. I am guilty of having horse artillery wandering around from time to time (I often lose it too but thats another story!) and it is unrealistic of them to be able to draw on the main army store whilst on a hill 4-5 miles from the nearest other unit. Keep posting on this Ross. ...

Thats good news!

How would you go about a correction of the points values Rich? (My computing skills are a little below par!) I wonder how much difference that would make to certain scenarios?

An alternative possiblity would be to reduce the points value of guns (and cavalry for that matter? - make them the same across the board?) Guns losses would still be high but would have less impact on the victory outcome. Brig. General P. Kenney 3rd Division Cavalry Corps Army of the Mississippi, CSA

I would say B I have never tried to duplicate Pickett's Charge in a Gettysburg game, or attacked multiple times at the Hornet's Nest at Shiloh, any more than an opponent has dashed his troops against Jackson's men in the railroad cut at 2nd Manassas. Mike Hihalik I tried a Pickett style charge at Ge...
