Thanks for taking the time to let us know your impressions on this game. It looks like it has a lot of promise if they keep refining it.

General Herbert, Thank you for your explanations. I hadn't considered some of the points you make, and I'm still not sure there really is a problem relating to General Meyer's actions (I believe he is acting openly and transparently with honourable intentions, exercising his right to free speech, an...

I think Joe is right. You have to make sure you check and set the optional rules before each scenario in a campaign in case the ones it defaults to aren't the ones you wanted for the battles of that campaign - or make sure your opponent sets them on his pc if he is the one who is prompted with the s...

General Herbert, I am confused. You say you have a problem with General Meyer recommending people vote for a candidate, yet you are doing the same. Perhaps I misunderstand something. You may not agree with his preference of candidate but he is acting openly and transparently, and in accordance with ...

It looks great Greg. Nice work 8). One small thing though: the AotC flag is distorted/stretched horizontally on your website, presumably to provide visual consistency with all the other flags. But it is actually a square flag (I based it on the original 1864 AotC flag), and in my opinion it is bette...

I joined in March 1999, 3 months after joining the Napoleonic Wargame Club. Prior to that I had been finding opponents on the old Talonsoft forum until I got an invitation to join from Michael O'Connor. I was assigned to the Army of the Cumberland, where I have remained ever since, apart from a spel...

Gentlemen,

I have moved the AotC website to another of my ISP's servers. Please take note of the new URL: http://www.arbarlow.webspace.virginmedi ... gc/aoc.htm . The website will probably disappear from the old location soon.

Sounds to me like it's something to do with the card then, seeing how it seems to work fine for everyone who has an integrated card, like on my laptop for an example where the games run fine. I even have less RAM on my laptop than on my stationary so that is most probobly not the issue. I agree Luc...

I have exactly the same issue with the latest patches of some of the HPS/Tiller games, but not with the games running older patches. It is very annoying. However, I found a workaround. If I go into Control Panel | Display | Settings Tab | Advanced | Troubleshoot Tab, then take the Hardware Accelerat...
