General McOmish <salute> Suh, Gator Alley stands ready to serve. Nicodemus has secured your favorite stool at the bar whenever you'd like to convene your first battle conference as CoA, although it took some creative thinking. A Yankee officer had arrived first, but once told that another wagon load... |

General McOmish <salute>
Suh, my compliments! I appreciate and am humbled by the recognition, however I'm simply fortunate enough to command the best division in the CSA.
Highest regards, |

Nicodemus is still recovering from his run in with the stampeding horde, however I believe he managed to snatch a Yankee pack horse as compensation. |

General Meyer <salute> Suh, what a generous offer! Information from the Yankee papers report your liquor has already fallen into our hands, however: Washington Times, 19 Oct 1861: "President Lincoln's Spirits Hijacked" "Presidential spokesman Yankee Doodle announced today that 23 wago... |

Gentlemen <salute> I am no historian, so any input I have is based solely on observation of gaming results. That being what it is: 1) The loss of all movement points when coming into contact with an enemy force is bull. I could theoretically advance my infantry column one hex on a road (11 movement ... |

Suh, yes. I am Cajun! Most of my ancestors are Acadians exiled from what is now Nova Scotia in 1755 or 1758. |

When I entered the club I was told that melee in column should be reserved for across bridges and in town hexes. I agree that game actions should be based on what the game engine allows, however also try to avoid contraversy by not conforming to "unofficial" rules. |

General Elkin <salute> Suh, my compliments! I wouldn't so much say that I'm dodging you as I'm stretched from pillar to post with my current games. I understand that the commanders are planning another "Western Thunder" type tournament, and I'd be happy to reserve a spot against you for wh... |

Gentlemen <salute> A pet peeve (spelling?) of mine is MP battles where you don't hear from your opponents for 2 weeks or so. How hard is it to send an email to your opponents that your turn is delayed because so-and-so is on vacation for a week? How hard is it to arrange for one of your team members... |

Ran into this recently in a Gator MP battle. I was introduced into the ACWGC with the understanding that infantry melee in column was "accepted" when across a bridge or within a town hex. The game engine will allow under most circumstances, so the best bet is to address the issue when nego... |
