Blake, That's a pretty long word there, did it all fit on the clip-board when you copied and pasted? Here's a link to a site about longest place-names ...I knew about the first one in Wales, but the other two were surprises. http://www.facstaff.bucknell.edu/rbeard/name.html Apparently this was...

Blake, Great shot, definitely shows the imposing height of the cut in that area. Closer to town, in that 2nd shot you shared, there are some sections comparable to the one by Wadsworth Ave, but that area is the most extensive I believe. Oak Ridge is fairly high ground when compared to that in front ...

Gents, yeah those tracks are used, both by CSX and by the Gettysburg Railroad Sightseeing Company (located on Washington St, right by the college (I used to live across the parking lot from it). the cut where Blake took those shots is the more imposing section of the line, further west, where I thin...

Whoa! I created a monster here... Anyone ever play "Age of Rifles"? Probably. I only ever got to mess around with the demo (came on the same PC Gamer disk as the Battleground Gettysburg Demo, way way way way back in the day (1996? if I'm not mistaken)) but there was another category to fir...

Gents,
I was wondering, is there a full campaign feature that utilizes the much touted "Largest Map in a HPS game?" Was thinking that it'd be fun to do a full, obscenely long campaign on that one.

General Bastiani, Suh! Well of course I have the only keys to this fine establishment (but seriously, we need to do something about that fish smell) but seeing as you represent a fine group of Nautical Engineers, I can see fit to making you a copy...so long as some of your boys rig us up a brand new...

Gents, This topic is such a source of amusement to me! I don't really mind that the Yanks password all their "private" forums, although it'd be nice to stop in from time to time under a flag of truce and have some friendly drinks with "those people", but if'n we're not wanted wel...

General Swan, Welcome, sir! Barkeep, put the good General on General Hulinsky's tab (psst, we never told the bar-back that Roger's left us!) Drink up sir, you're very welcome here. Just watch out for Nicodemus, I'm sure he's skulking about somewhere here, Col. Hebert is constantly losing him under t...

Gents, Am I, somehow, the first soul to post in this fine (if, somewhat smelling of fish and saltwater) establishment? Very well, then! A mug of grog for me and me mates! We'll hoist a tankard to Raphael Semmes and the Alabama...and to the other Southern Captains of somewhat lesser renown and fame w...

Dave, in keeping with the tradition of naming battles after the part of the field where they were most sucessful, I tend to forget the places where things went less well...I DO happen to remember what happened when Longstreet collapsed your left flank near the peach orchard on the morning of day 2 a...
