SDC now has a Facebook presence. As far as Civil War Club interests go, I am adding smaller versions for the planning maps to the albums there (and will eventually also be linking that material to pages on the SDC site proper.) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Scenario-Design-Center/351292604967033 Edi... |

Too many links to post individual -check the links on the home page. http://hist-sdc.com All titles currently available have been redone; featuring additional planning maps (done in 2d zoom out), as well as being updated to the current site format. Look for additional material to be added continually. |

Thanks, Ernie, I really appreciate that :). Ok, I got Antietam's page done (-although Antietam is a funny title- in that there wasn't any map information (Mike's campaign maps) that addressed First Bull Run - so it got me thinking that eventually I will have to do something about that -by probably a... |

I have been working on CWB material again (slowly but surely). The above link in the initial post is -well it will go away soon, as I update the Civil War Battles series material to the new look. At this point the menus are not completely filled out ( I have the urls on them but mostly am waiting to... |

It will be posted at SDC, as Cam was kind enough to send me over a copy yesterday. It happened to conicide with a preventative maintainence issue ( currently the open source software SDC uses lumps all download files into one single generic folder ... which is ok when a site has only a few downloads... |

What Ernie is saying, and I agree, is that it sounds like what you are describing is a potential bug -and to be of service to the community at large (iow to quash it, if it is a bug), please consider sending an email describing the file (and if you weren't using encrpytion - a copy of the file -othe... |

The Napoleonic HPS and old Talonsoft games have a feature in the "file" dropdown called "snapshot".......it creates a "bmp" file. Does anyone know how to do this in the HPS Civil War titles? I don't know if any of the EAW titles have 'snapshopt' either -but for that ma... |

If you run into any problems -please lmk ... -as I do have to get on that part sooner or later. I noticed one recurring error, but when it looked like it was a bot or crawler trying for something -I decided to ignore it for awhile, but I am always interested if actual users are having issues. |

Amazon has a copy for $29.99 new (sometimes you find titles for even less)- and occasionally if you watch them, you'll find the odd used one posted for sale there. However, you do also run into some people that have strange ideas about worth (in other words there seems to be a few folks who think ju... |

I'll be changing the Civil War material to fit in with the newer look I am using on the site (will be complete with revised planning maps on the pages for a particular game title, and will have improved navigation). Probably not for awhile, however, as the series that I am currently working in is th... |

I was advised by Rich Hamilton to secure all BG (Napoleonic and Civil War) files from GS. They've been availabe in the downloads section of SDC for awhile (but - and this is a big but, the software I use adds in characters for spaces- so it is entirely possible that I have to go in and edit all of t... |

Somewhile back, I cannot remember what game or opponent, I was absolutely stunned to see my boys deliver a horrendous casualty loss upon an opposing enemy stack in just one fire! On that occasion I believe that I had a mixed stack of artillery and infantry dishing out a combined ambush fire against... |
