My last appearance was back in April. Since that time I was really unavailable. My sincere apologies to my opponents who were left in the lurch without any notice or communication. Like Lazarus, however, I have returned and will be able to fight again. I hope my former opponents will forgive my abru...

To all my long-suffering opponents:
I am about to catch a plane for some old timer's education. I will be out of action until Tuesday next. My apologies.

To all my long suffering opponents: I am going to be on TDY for real life issues from July 24 through August 15. I will have my laptop with me, but cannot guarantee internet access or ability to complete turns. I will keep up until the 24th. After that, I will do the best I can from the UK and then ...

Sir:
Please sign me up for the 1st Bull Run (BGBR 03). I will try to advance the cause of the Union against those pesky, upstart secessionists.

I am happy with whatever options are chosen for the MP blind scenario. I will defer to the decisions the Chiefs may make.

My wife says that I am free to go on the 28th. She is concerned that I am meeting a Moose with a "Quickie". I reminded her that at my age, nothing is quick. I will be there on the 28th. Let me know where to find the bivouac area.

Ernie, You already know that I will be there. I am intriguesd by Notso's "Flat Stanley" idea. I am worried that mentioning "flat" and Gen. Moose in the same sentence will cause flatus in the reader, and perhaps the attender. Should we take precautions? Beano is a thought. Jim Gleason LG 4-2-I AoP
