Buckner had two really bad Generals with him at the Fort. Pillow and Floyd were contemptible in their actions, leaving Simon with the task of surrendering. Blake, I am sure you would have been Buckner in that case.

I will replay certain scenarios that I like and the opponent wants to play. What I mean is that I don't first fight the AI to get a feel for the battle before the contest starts.

I prefer the FOG of War. Fighting a battle before hand was not an option for the real soldiers, nor should it be for us. Studying Maps is ok, but not refighting the battle. Historical accounts are ok, but not refighting the battle. Did I just say that?

Cam, and the other wonderful gentlemen of the CSA <salute> I have always felt that the reb arty is protrayed as much more effective than it was in the real world. However, because it kills a bunch of my troops, that may just be sour grapes on my part MG Elkin 3rd Div/(2nd Cav)/ XVIth Corp AotT

I love the 1/2 victory point spiking idea!

I also would never fire a gun with an officer, a supply wagon or troops less than 20.

Cam-to help your mental anguish, I recommend a water treatment and no alcohol for 30 days.
