I have reevaluated the weapons data on the PDTs. They will be included with the new updates coming in a few weeks. They will be incorporated into all the games of the series. I have given the files to Joe, so if he can attach them here, I would welcome comments. I forgot how to attach files on the M...

1. Still to fix is the minor but annoying bug that weapons with a fire value of zero on the first range are not showing up in the in-game PDT screen. Currently the missing weapons are in slot d, e & v in all PDTs, these are all weapons with a fire value of zero on 1 hex. 2. Note sure if the wea...

Yes it is a pity.

Rich, I know nothing about coding so will ask you if changing the snapshot "code" in the NAP series to perform as it does in the ACW series would be a big deal?

If you asking me, I don't know, I would address that in an email to support@johntillersoftware.com

I'm not aware that any 6pdr were build in the late war, what is here are surely modified guns only. Even the ANV send back their 6pdrs to recast them to 12pdr, by the time of Gettysburg there was just a single 6pdr field gun in the ANV left. Problem in my eyes is that the naming does not really ref...

Can you point me to a specific unit you are referring to?

I asked John Ferry to have a look, as he is more of an expert on artillery. Many 6 pdr smoothbores were rifled under the James system at the beginning of the war, becoming 12 pdr James Rifles. Some James Rifles were made from scratch, and they were 14 pdrs from the beginning. Most of the confusion t...

Hello Rich Thanks for this reply. So is this logic generally what applies in other Campaign games in the series? The other question I have is whether losses carry over from game to game within a particular campaign? BTW, each games in the series is different, so the Petersburg logic would not apply...

In the June/July Campaign, only a union major victory will end the campaign. The logic being that Petersburg has fallen, so ends the siege. The same is true for the other two campaigns, but only a Union major victory will end the campaign, not a CSA major victory, I can see that perhaps I should adj...

Hi, We are playing the Hancock's Advance scenario (009?) and I noticed that while strength is given for on-map Reb artillery, the Union artillery strength shows zero for every battery. Is there a reason for this? Just curious. Do you mean an "X" Are you playing extreme FOW? I played with ...

I, for one, cannot recall this happening. However, if you have other programs running at the same time, or your computer is being slowed by some kind of virus, that may result in a lapse of info being displayed. My 2 cents!

In general, I think at least 80% like EFOW. But some have concerns about it being historical. Let me reply with a reply I recently sent by email: I believe the EFOW is very historical and good “as is.” The map allows you to read the terrain as if you were holding a real map. EFOW simply eliminates t...

What's with the standard "visible hexes" not working? No matter what I do, I can't click on a hex and see what hexes are visible from there. Is something wrong with my download, or is there a non-intuitive trick I need to know? The old system was fine, perfect, not broke. I hope we didn't...
