I can get Chimay-a beer from Belgium made by Trappist Monks- for over $12/bottle. I had to buy a bottle just to see what a beer that expensive could taste like. It was on the sweet, heavy side with a smooth finish but I prefer a Pilsener beer myself. BG Drex Ringbloom, Cdr,2nd Div,VIII Corp Army of ... |

Since the US government refers to the war as a "Rebellion", invasion certainly is a misnomer. Lee was merely moving the rebellion into Pennsylvania.

Like I asked- there was no criticism of this game intended- I just wanted to know how accurate the real cannons were. I enjoy killing guns and i would gripe if I didn't knock any out. Gen Whitehead answered my question. Others got defensive about some intended slight to the game. They need to read m... |

This isn't meant as a criticism only a historical question: how accurate was civil war artillery on the field? I'm fighting Fredericksburg and we are engaging in an artillery duel where up to eight guns can be destroyed on one side in a turn. the minimum might be 3-4 guns. The Union side must use ba... |

Thanks for bringing me up to speed Ross. Unfortunately I wasn't around when this matter was discussed. However its not a big issue and the game isn't diminished in any way.

In large battles(7 Days is 407 turns!) you end up with useless wagons that must be moved out of harms way. In the battle I spoke of the Fixed Supply Wagons were so far back that I could never use them.I'm sure the reasons must be good for not doing something about it and as has been said before, it ... |

I just completed a 7 Days battle in the Peninsula during which I ended up with a slew of supply wagons with low supply levels that made them useless, yet i had to keep them from being captured. There was a cache of "fixed supply wagons"with 600 supply pts in each some distance behind the lines. I ha... |

Okay, I'm no expert on Fredericksburg but I am finding out in this battle that the supply wagons can not cross the bridges. the men and artillery can, but not the wagons. Is this historical? Otherwise troops will have to go back and cross the river to acquire ammo. BG Drex Ringbloom, Cdr,2nd Div,VII... |

Although I'm on the same side as Gen. Miller, he ran roughshod over me at the Nepoleonic Wars, so I feel your pain- well deserved though it may be.[:D]
