I like the BCE concept also. In the GBACW series it usually became a critical factor later in a game. Squad Leader and ASL also had a morale adjustment if a sides losses increased past a certain point. It'd be great if ZOC's were dependant on unit size, unit morale and unit fatigue level. I know we ...

It'd be great if we got the USA perspective on the battle, what went right and what went wrong for their side. Between the two posts by the CSA's AC's the USA players now have been provided fairly accurate picture of what the CSA went through. C'mon guys in blue, don't be timid, give us a clue to wh...

Great game Ken. Thanks for the experience. This is my third game played this way (fourth if we count the short experimental one on the Shiloh field with two moderators) and I think it's one of the best ways to play albiet frustrating. I too looked forward to Saturday evenings when the turn usually c...

I'm a member of a 4 on 4 MP game where Jon was involved and got a note from the CSA leader (BG. Boyd Denner) that Jon had to drop out of the game because of work committments.

May be the same for other games as well. Anyway just a thought.

I remember all those Great Battles of the American Civil War games of which TSS was the first. Still have most of them. Back in the early '80's a group of us played one double blind (EFOW) with myself as the referee. We had two copies of the game (it was Pleasant Hill from the Red River campaign) se...

I'm thinking, as others have said, he's frustrated at you falling back just far enough to deny any sort of rapid road movement. I'm figuring you're falling back just far enough that you don't get flanked by cavalry moving off road either mounted or dismounted if it's forest. I don't think you're doi...

Great photo Larry. Wished I could have been there but I'm in the middle of rebuilding my house and, as it's turning out, it's a 24/7 endeavor. I looked at the photo before you posted your follow up note and it looked like it was the same spot we set up in in '04. I remember suggesting the Rebs on on...

A hearty "Great job" to you and the rest of the cabinet General Mallory. The monthly updates here work very well. It's so simple and straight forward I'm a little chagrinned that that was not thought of when I was on the cabinet. I always thought the communication with the membership needed attentio...
