Just yesterday I had infantry move and then change facing and at that point an unseen unit "decloaked" a couple of hexes away and performed auto defensive fire. Another time I moved into a previously unobserved open area with mounted cavalry and came within two hexes of an "unknown&qu... |

Being a fan of the Perryville Battefield I have thought that the 009 Perryville (Chickamauga disc) v.4 meeting scenario would lend itself nicely to a MP experience. I have never fought it that way though and cannot recollect having heard of anyone mentioning having fought it that way either so I can... |

I had a great time participating in a guided hike two weeks ago at the Perryville Battlefield. Over the course of the last several months I have fought a couple of the scenarios in anticipation of the hike. Having been on the battlefield again and presently reading about Maney's Brigade at Perryvill... |

Hmmmm........ so slapping me about the face with your gloves and challenging me on that RBCT battle was not the insolent act of a demented Prussian General but simply the antics of an email hacker trying to set you up for a fight! Very well then, I'll buy you a drink rather than take umbrage at a pe... |

The RBCT is a jewel of the club that some may have... |

I found your question most interesting and couldn't wait to find out. Wikipedia had a thought on it. Do a search using: ... Acting (rank) ... to find the Wikipedia entry. The really relevant part of their article to me was this: "Similar to the many brevet ranks in the Union Army, acting appoin... |
