Yes, definately. The campaign is great, but even if you just wanted to play the Battle of Gettysburg on its own, you get to do it on a much bigger map. Is it better than the other HPS titles? I don't know. I have Corinth and that is superb too.

Dave, Go to C:\WINDOWS and locate the ini files for each game, e.g. bgn.ini. There are editable lines in there for sounds and videos - just point them to the correct CD drive. I don't know if you'll need to go to the registry too. sorry, it's been a few years since I had to muck around with all this... |

Tom, General Gast is temporarily on leave due to work pressures but he will be back in a month or two. You'll see plenty of other familiar faces around though. The biggest difference is that we have the XIV Corps back in action, alongside the XX Corps. Lt. Gen. Antony Barlow CO, XIV Corps, XO, Army ... |

Tom! It's nice to see you here and I hope you are well. I don't know about that page but I do know that there are vast amounts of useful information available to both newbie and veteran at the Union War College, and I assume the rebs have something similar. What about Combat Mission, the WWII series by Battlefront? That enabled both sides to move/fight at the same time and was kind of both turn based and realtime. I'm sure that could be adapted to 19th century warfare. Lt. Gen. Antony Barlow CO, XIV Corps, XO, Army of the Cumberland http://homepage.ntl... |
