Why AS Johnston and Bragg, but not Buell and Rosecrans? Johnston basically just fought one battle.

Is this one of those questions for which there is no correct answer? In terms of leadership incompetence, the two armies were mirror images. There were political operatives and glory hounds on both sides. And, of course, the A of P faced Lee. Buell, and then Rosecrans, were not Lee. Forced to come d...

General Mihalik's point is well taken. Part of the problem is the limitation of the base 12 movement system. Off-road movement is the same whether in column or line, which it was not. Were the game system to employ a different base -- 24, for example -- the 2/3 ratio is possible for column movement ...

I have found that the install scripts don't work correctly at times. I had problems installing some 4.01 updates and could only get them to work if I uninstalled 4.00 first.

George,

Welcome aboard the Union ship! Costa Rica! Haven't seen many references in all the Civil War history I have read.

If the criteria be "high strung" and "low energy", Bragg and Polk would certainly qualify.

The fact that there were no problems for the first 13 turns is puzzling. So, I can no longer lay the "blame" on the Union solely. If the zipped file doesn't solve the issue, then you are really in the weeds. You could ask if any of the players on either side did something different in turn...

Yes, I know, "Union corruption". Save me the Rebel trolling.

Ashdoll, it sounds as though your scenario is working correctly. You cannot affect the replay code in any manner. You state that the CSA player(s) can see the replay on some turns, but on other turns, nothing. This would indicate that the replay code is becoming corrupted on the Union side. Are all ...

Ashdoll, I don't have any idea what would be causing the replay problem. The only thing I could possibly imagine is a change in visibility range? For example, visibility is 20 hexes. The 2nd player who moves in the turn (CSA) is visible within that range as seen by the Union in the replay. The turn ...
