Is there someone who knows if there is a tutorial for using the scenario editor in Chickamauga? Not a tutorial per se, but I think the Scenario Editor Help File explains how to use it pretty well. If it's the HPS/JTS/WDS game version Mike is correct, the cwedit.pdf in the Manuals folder and accessi...

I have 7 playlists I alternate for my daily walks and long drives, Rock, Country, Sailing, Drinking, Marches, ACW and Various (all of them) songs. They are on my phone and my pc and I play the ACW list while playing games. Since it has all the music from the Tiller games and a few others I don't get...

When I updated to Win7 and tried to install the game it stated the file was not compatible with the operating system, that's why I bought the Matrix version as there were still a few members who played the BG games. Never tried to install in Win10 so I don't know if that would work. I am still able ...

If you didn't play it back in the day there are some things you'll want to know in advance. You'll need an XP machine to play it, the original game was similar to the SPI games with 1 SP = 100 men. Also you will need the Tiller updates, may have trouble finding those unless you know someone who keep...

My condolences to his family. Have not been in touch lately but I had the pleasure of crossing swords with him several times and enjoyed all our games.
He will be missed.

I got to play in an award winning scenario at HMGS Cold Wars based on the Alamo battle using 28mm figures and a modified version of the Muskets and Tomahawks miniature game rules. Each figure was an individual man, the Texans were all named. The Mexican force had almost 3 times as many men and had t...

Leaving early Thursday morning for HMGS Cold Wars at Valley Forge Casino. Will be out of touch until Monday. If you're going I will be at the Bolt Action Tournament most of the day on Saturday, normally located in the lower level where the vendors set up. Not much in the way of ACW this time, did ma...

I should correct a previous statement. The ACW Engineering site is technically a developer site, but it hasn't been utilized as such for some time. Any further efforts in this regard would depend upon Ken Miller's involvement at his discretion. Regarding Robert's comment. For you newcomers I starte...

I have both games and have played PzC Normandy a good bit pbem and PzB Normandy a little, some good short scenarios in both. Have played the large campaign scenarios against the AI partway through a couple times, I think the PzB version does a little better job of showing how the small unit actions ...

Gentlemen, I find myself in need of a game. This is a long post, if you're not willing to use the Artillery Capture option you can stop here, I don't play without it. For those newer members who don't know me I have been a member in the ACWGC off and on going back to the BG days. Have done playtest ...

Joined the yanks for two reasons, I'm a ridge runner from south western Pennsylvania, got hooked on the Civil War thanks to a history teacher in high school. He spent a whole grade period on the era, the lead up, the war and the reconstruction period. 1/6 of the school year to cover a 20 year period...

Had several of his games back in the day, Third Reich is one of the few board wargames I still have. It was a regular both at our local gaming group and played it at every Origins I went to in the '70's and 80's. Would play in the tourneys during the day and get up a game of 3rd Reich or a big MP ga...
