I recall reading Lee had been considering reducing the size of the corps and adding a third to the ANV before Jackson's wounding, he thought the Corps were too big to be controlled by a single commander and the small staffs the confederacy had at the time. So now you have two what if's should Jacks... |

You have to also consider that with Jackson in command he might have already taken Harrisburg and be unable to make it back in time to participate in the first day's battle. |

Hi, Sorry about your frustration with WDS, but these John Tiller games have been an important part of my life for over thirty years. The free support over those years has been superior to any other computer games I've ever owned. I think Forgotten Battles is the last of the ACW titles anyway. Not ab... |

It appears in at least some of the Forgotten Battles scenarios the PDTs are markedly different to what I have been used to. More likelihood that you can fire at an adjacent unit and not hit anything. Easily modified I know, but it did take me by surprise! |

Well, no disrespect, but I don't belong to facebook and I am enjoying the 4.0 info. In fact, I look forward more! For example, does anyone else have trouble following the Forgotten Battles maps or is it just me? What do you mean by following the maps? I find the 4.0 map design pretty but less infor... |

Thanks Walt and Blake for the info! I check the Tavern daily but rarely think to check the permanent posts. Forgotten Battles has no previous JTS version. Can I use the graphics from another JTS version? The other issue I noticed is that the map in Forgotten Battles appears darker. Does that change ... |

Interesting to note that "rework and rebalance scenarios" ranked 4th out of 8 in priority in the recent WDS survey. This can difficult when you consider that the system has two different modes of play and 27 optional rules. I suppose technically each scenario should be playtested in each m... |

I remember the reporting requirements for games were more onerous when I joined. I forgot the name of the officer over reporting at the time or when it changed.
Today it is a lot more streamlined. The same could be said for club resposibilities in general. |

Both are good. Corinth has covers a little-known campaign involving smaller armies fighting minor battles. Chickamauga covers all the major battles in the western theater during the two years after Shiloh. Since I prefer the larger battles, I would take Chickamauga, but I don't think you can go wron... |

Has anyone had this problem? I tried down loading a couple of games that I am not current playing and I get this download message. Salerno43_400msi isn't commonly downloaded. Make sure you trust Salerno 43_400msi before you open it. then I click learn more and a report page comes up. I can not open... |
