Always take General Whiteheads advice, trust me on that one. I may be reading more into your post than I should but I think I detect an element of "that player is not playing the way the Generals did at the time of the battle " in your post. Maybe I"m wrong, if so I apologize. My feel...

I first joined the ACWGC about nine years ago. I have had to take a couple of breaks during that span of time including two years out of the club recently but I always kept the club on my favorites list and checked in on it periodically. I was fortunate enough to be allowed to reenlist last month ag...

I'm all for historical preservation, but geez. This thing was a hunk of junk from day one and now we are gonna pay an addition 14 million to put it on land and have people walk through it? I say we use that money to preserve pieces of battlefields getting paved over for more Walmarts/strip malls.

My email provider changed the address, so my outlook program won't recognize it. My son tells me it's so it will work with google. Shrug. I guess they are fixing what isn't broken. They sound like Confederates to me. Either way, until I figure it out (or bribe my son to do it for me) I will not be r...

I highly recommend reading American Scoundrel while you are layed up. It will connect one Union General with a leg injury in the present to one in the past (and make the time pass quicker). Get well soon sir!

Actually, I will play any HPS Civil war game. If I don't own it, I'll order it.

I'm not sure I agree with those of you that say attacking in column across a bridge is not historical. In fact, I believe it correlates precisely with history. The example that comes to mind is Burnside's attack across the bridge later to be named after him at Antietam. General Don Golen I Corps /Ar...
