The main problem with Windows 7 is you can't use default to install games. HP Tiller site has information as well as a post I did 2 years ago.

Then today I read this article: http://www.civilwar.org/battlefields/nashville/nashville-history-articles/nashvillecooling.html I swear there are times when I wond...

Also, there is a Union vs Rebel problem. The performance for a gun is probably quite different when using ammo from Northern factories versus Southern. Probably what is more needed is Southern gun fire tables giving them lousy mid range factors for their bad fuses. That is the one thing that Tiller...

Steve is correct; It is open source software. The Theory is that you only play the games you own. I am playing 2 games right, The Russian Campaign and For the People. I own both of them. Is their piracy? You bet, but there is piracy in the digital world as well. I have found it an excellent way to g...

I have only been a member since 2009. Has anybody tried to incorporate Vassal games (board games played on line) into the Civil War club. The site is here if you not familiar with it. http://www.vassalengine.org/ You can play folio games to monsters like Terrible Swift Sword, and classics like AH Ge...

As I pass my third year in the club, I love the games and enjoy the folks. However, I become more convinced as I play the scenarios, that the Confederate artillery is just too damn effective in these games. I have moving arty, they counter-fire and wipe out guns. I sit still, fire at their arty, and...

Blake, with your talent, yo should consider doing a Civil War Dispatch for both North and South. More stories, more jabs, and recruit some cub reporters to add a story or two.

I have just started with Vassal, and I do own this game. Card driven and long. Might be fun to experiment.
