General <salute> So many lives were lost in the trench warfare of that siege, and avoiding that would have been good. However, I am not sure in the Fall of 1864 Lee recommends against guerrilla warfare as he did in April 1865, so I believe it was finally better that the country suffered that burden ... |

General <salute> 2 questions- Do you feel that artillery in the current Tiller campaign games is correct. I believe that the Union Artillery is less effective than the Confederate Artillery, and my reading would have me believe the opposite. Would you feel a Mexican-American War game would be useful... |

Though I don't have a lot of contact with General Nelms, I have been impressed. However, being a Reds fan, I would look for victories over the Cubs the next few days. On a more serious note, I have a couple of questions. Do you feel that the Artillery segment of the Tiller games needs a slight modif... |

Franklin is very tough for CSA. I like Atlanta but I would go with Ozark between the two.

I do really enjoy Custer history and have read both of the books mentioned. Touched by Fire is a decent read and I found this book very good: Archaeology, History, and Custer's Last Battle: The Little Big Horn Re-examined by Richard A. Fox (Sep 15, 1997) \. Larry McMurty is coming out with a novel t... |

XVIth Corps is thrilled to welcome General Ian Miller as my replacement. Belly up to the Bar boys. Hell, even Cam is invited! I guess Mark Davis and Blake can join as well-just 2 drinks each boys.

I have not played Ironclads, though I did read some negative reviews. Anybody find a good naval sim for the Civil War?
