Welcome, Mark, now we just need two more Secessionists and we're good to go.

Almost time to start thinking of what rules and scenareo we'll be using. I'm open to anything the majority agrees to but my preference would be for the full 156 turn historical 3 day batttle.

Lt. Colonel Tom Bridges tells me he'll join us Unionist, depending on the rules and scenareo. So that's Doug, Dave, Tom and me v.s. RDavis and three AWOL Confederates.

Gentlemen, I've returned after a prolonged absence and I'd like to get a MP game going. Gettysburg is my only title and so far one other Unionist, MG Doug Shaw, has signed on to play. 3 v.s. 3 is the minimium needed. 4 v.s. 4 would be even better. Scenario and rules can be agreed upon once we're all...

Just my 2 cents but I think this entire post is in bad taste. I expected that we were above such crudeness. I don't want to set myself up as the thought police but I don't this this type of humor should have a place here.

These clips are great! As far as I'm concerned they should have made room for most of them somehow. Leaving out the whole bugle call segment and some other Chamberlain segments, and reducing the time spent on Pickett's charge would have worked for me. Lt. Col. Bill Cirillo 3rd Brigade, 1st Div. Since I patched I can't seem to find the help menu that describes the ins and outs of the optional rules. When I try, all I get is the <u>PDF HPS help file</u> and I can't seem to find anything there about how each of the optional rules changes play. If anyone can point me in the right direction I'd...

Lots of great info. here. Thanks all. I just found something of interest. If a unit changes facing while behind a stone wall they get the Fire combat modifier. However, if they deploy skirmishers, they don't get the Fire combat modifier. Major Bill Cirillo 3rd Brigade, 1st Div. XX Corps, AoC, USA

In a locked thread, someone posted that <font color="red">"Hexside terrain like streams don't affect fire combat but do affect melee combat."</font id="red"> I can't find much in the manual about streams as a combat modifier. I tried play testing it and there didn't seem to be any modifier during fi...

I've been away from the game for a while. I now realize that it's due to fog of war. I'm an old time board game war game player and I'd like to re-visit the good old days. So, anyone out there willing to play without FoW, please get in touch. BTW, I prefer max phases but this is not a deal breaker. ...
