Courier dispatched under a flag of truce. Still need to get some things together administratively on my side's end before I can add a signature line. Following that up now. :)

Single hex? Yep - no problem, am on it. Will take care of it after breakfast. Should take only a second.

I thought about this a bit, I do have the editor - and here's how this can work, if you want an area changed to whatever terrain - just put the hexes in here and what you'd want it set to. I don't also think that the Railway Cut was ever changed in Gettysburg? Same holds true for that -can edit it t...

I debated about posting on this topic for awhile, and to be entirely fair to the topic, noting that GMT's The Dead of Winter also does not have any rough terrain in the area of the a fore-mentioned Slaughter Pen on its map -is it not possible that this might not be something where it was decided tha...

Based on a guy that got shot by his own guys, had his arm amputated, then got a fever and died; I imagine that is not really the type of 'luck' most people would want.

Fwiw, I would be surprised if testers had any input about rolling them out in mass updates; I think it is supposed to be a PDT entry - and probably a 0 when not allowed. That being said, I never saw any rated as 0. I did see a couple where the weather version had no entries for a couple of lines (on...

I took the comment above to be about the impact of the psyche of the Army of Potomac leadership, and especially the emerging leadership; in a nutshell it clearly indicated that Lee was fallible. Sending Pickett on the 3rd proved that in as big a way as anything. I've read some background about the c...

If as the Union player if you choose Cross at Bruinsburg a major victory for the Union player will not end the campaign A Confederate major victory will still end the campaign as a Confederate win. If the Union player elects to feint at Bruinsburg -effectively you end up having a one scenario campai...

You first have to know what the path actually is - and that is definitely something that can be done without an editor. I know this because I went through scenarios, when I was involved in playtesting and wrote up that the graphics didn't match up with the path. Surprisingly I got told by that then'...

Don't go by the graphics alone, also look at the terrain by right clocking on the Terrainh/v.bmp to confirm its path. This is particularly true of some titles. No need for a map editor to do that, but admittedly the acronym that would come to mind is PITA. ;) The question at that point might become,...

Approaching this from a scenario designer standpoint, if I had a custom scenario, and I saw this happening - I would probably just edit in some supply sources for the armies' crossing points at the fords in question. That should prevent any isolation effects. I guess if it is an engine feature that ...

Hence my point of using Chancellorsville to Gettysburg. Less than 60 days from one battle to the other. Not the way things currently stand with the engine.

... not to mention, too, that certain leader losses did contribute to OOB structural changes in real life. (ANV going from 2 Corps to 3 Corps when Stonewall as lost is a good example, and not the only one - I think there were also some during the Overland campaign -although off the top of my head I ...
